Reverse Forward : HGTV
On April 18, 2014, HGTV announced that it plans to showcase a home improvement event called "Flip It Forward" hosted by Benham Brothers to premiere in October 2014. On May 6, 2014, Right Wing Watch released a post condemning HGTV's decision to ask the brothers to hold the show because of previous public statements against abortion and same-sex marriage. The next day, HGTV announced via tweet that it would not move forward with the Benham Brothers series, thus immediately canceling the production in the middle of filming. Although their performances were canceled prior to airing, Benham Brothers completed home flip projects in six Charlotte homes connected to the canceled show.
