Pedro Pablo TreviÃÆ' Â ± o Villarreal (born June 13, 1972 in Monterrey, Nuevo LeÃÆ'³n) is a Mexican lawyer and politician who served as secretary of the Labor state in Nuevo LeÃÆ'³n from 2010 to 2012. Federal representative for 2012 Period -2015 by the 12th Federal District Nuevo LeÃÆ'³n and Chairman of the Budget Committee and the Public Account of the 62nd Mexican Congress. The Managing Director of LoterÃÆ'a Nacional para la Asistencia PÃÆ'ºblica and PronÃÆ'³sticos para la Asistencia PÃÆ'ºblica until september, 2017. Today, he is President of the PRI State Steering Committee at Nuevo LeÃÆ'³n.

Education and personal life

Holds a degree in Law and Social Sciences by Autonomous University of Nuevo LeÃÆ'³n. In 2001, he got a master's degree in Public Administration by the University of Colorado and in 2002 got a Master's degree in International Law at the University of Denver. He also has several Diplomas in Public Administration Management Functions by Mexico Autonomous Institute of Technology in Mexico City; and Business Management by Rice University in Houston, Texas. In 2005, he was awarded a scholarship by the United States Embassy in Mexico for the North American Competition and the Asian Challenge Diploma at the Institute of the Americas in California; in the same year he attended "The Challenge of the Future of Mexico: Leadership and Performance Strategies" Diploma at John F. Kennedy's School Faculty at Harvard University in Massachusetts.

Partisan activity

In 1990, he joined the Institutional Revolutionary Party where he served as Leader, Coordinator and Secretary of Political Training at the Popular Revolutionary Youth City Committee, the youth organization of the National Popular Organization Confederation (CNOP in Spanish).

He was twice nominated by the Institutional Revolutionary Party for elections, first in 2006 when he tried to become Federal Deputy by the 6th Federal District Nuevo LeÃÆ'³n, and second in the 2012 federal election when he ran for Federal Vice nominated by "Compromiso "por Mexico" coalition, consisting of the Institutional Revolutionary Party and the Ecological Green Party, by the 12th Federal District Nuevo LeÃÆ'³n.

In 2003, he served as Technical Secretary of the Social Development Council of the future candidate and governor Josà © Natividad González Parás campaign. Also, in 2009 he was the Institutional Relations Coordinator of the candidate and former state governor, Rodrigo Medina de la Cruz.

Public Administration

In the public sector he was Secretary General Director of the National Lottery for Public Assistance from 1996 to 1997, Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry Nuevo LeÃÆ'³n from 2003 to 2006 and Director General of Corporations for the Development of Nuevo LeÃÆ'³n's Borderland in Nuevo LeÃÆ'³n state government from 2006 to 2009.

On July 20, 2010, Governor Rodrigo Medina de la Cruz appointed him Minister of Labor of Nuevo LeÃÆ'³n state government, where he served until February 2012.

Selected Office

LXII Legislative Mexican Congress

In the 2012 federal election he was elected a Federal Deputy by Federal District 12 of Nuevo LeÃÆ'³n so that on July 6 of the same year he received a record of the majority of the Federal Electoral Authority that accredited him as a Selected Federal Deputy with 126,000 votes 069 (46.01% vote), and who make it as a Federal Vice candidate with the largest number of votes being accepted nationally.

On August 29, he was sworn in as the Federal Deputy LXII Legislature of the Mexican Congress. He has served as Chairman of the Budget and Public Account Committees, and as a member of the Northern Border Industry Committee, Competitiveness, and Special Exports. In addition, he is vice president of the Mexican - French Friendship Group and a member of the Mexican - Japanese Friendship Group.
