The Alaska Loyal League is a small group of Fairbanks entrepreneurs who were instrumental in supporting agriculture and early Tanana Valley companies. They include: A. Browning; George Coleman, manager of the Northern Commercial Company; F.S. Gordon, a merchant; H.B. Parkin, transportation agent of Fairbanks Meat Company; E.R. People, traders; Harry E. St. George, real estate agent; William Fentress Thompson, editor and publisher of Fairbanks Daily News-Miner ; and R.C. Wood, a banker.

In April 1917, the League organized a luncheon and the Farmers Day convention, for the purpose of organizing local farmers and creating an independent agricultural valley. They were behind the formation of a short-lived Farmer Bank, the Tanana Valley Farmers Association, and then the Flour Mill Company.
