The Licensing and Commercial Regulatory Division is a division of the Rhode Island Business Regulations responsible for licensing and regulating real estate agents, brokers and appraisers, automobile bodies & auto rescue and rescue bases, travel agents and travel agents, upholsterers, alarm system makers, auctioneers, liquor wholesalers, factories, wineries, sellers (wholesalers) and agents (representing manufacturers and refiners), Classes G (ship/airline/train) licensees, line-cleaners, and home and garden-driven and manufactured. Unit price enforcement, motor fuel ads and pre-opening health club legislation are also activities of the program.
Commercial Licensing includes Alarm Licenses, Automatic Body Licenses, Car Glass Licenses, Body Rescue and Automatic Rebuilder, Automatic Damage and Prisons, Auctions, Fake Ads and Gasoline Ads, Health Clubs, Liquor Enforcement and Fulfillment, Home/Parks and Home Cars/Manufactured, Real Estate, Travel Agencies and Agents, Unit Price and Upholstery. Commercial License
Alarm License
This section is responsible for licensing and business regulation of Burglary and Alarm Closure and Alarm Agent. Section coordinates and set up checks for Alarm business. This section is also empowered to investigate and adjudicate complaints against licensees to ensure compliance with the laws of the state of Rhode Island and its rules and regulations.
Automatic Body License
The section responsible for the regulation and licensing of the automobile body industry throughout the state. This section also investigates complaints from consumers, the insurance industry and law enforcement. This section reviews the new licensing applications and updates to ensure that applicants meet all the licensing requirements and that the appropriate fees have been deposited.
Automatic Glass License
This section sets out the standards and procedures for the issuance of Limited Glass Licenses for the installation of motorized glass.
License Rebuilder Balance
The section responsible for establishing the standards and procedures for the issuance of a salvage refund license to a licensed car workshop facility so that the facility can improve the total loss of rescue vehicles. Automatic safety rebuilding rules are intended to ensure that vehicles are reconstructed in a safe manner for retail consumers/buyers, and to prohibit the use of stolen parts/vehicles in the reconstruction of the vehicle.
Automatic and Shield Damage
Section responsible for regulation and licensing of Auto Wrecking and Salvage Rebuilder industries across the state. This section also investigates complaints from consumers, the insurance industry and law enforcement. This section reviews the new licensing applications and updates to ensure that applicants meet all the licensing requirements and that the appropriate fees have been deposited.
Auction
Section responsible for the rules and licenses of Resident, Non-Resident and Apprentice Auctioneers conducting auctions within the State.
Fake Advertising and Gas Advertising
The section responsible for setting up petrol stations and advertisements.

Health Club
Section responsible for setting and registration of health club.
Liquor Enforcement and Compliance
The section responsible for assessing and collecting fees is determined by the laws of the state of Rhode Island. This section is also responsible for inspection of retail and wholesale companies and issuance of licenses to manufacturers, wholesalers, ships and railways as well as airplanes.
This section deals with the application of retail licenses from actions taken by local councils. This section also investigates complaints, permissions and checks the regulated entity.
Mobile and Home and Produced Parks
The part responsible for licensing and setting the home car park. This section is also empowered to investigate and prosecute complaints from park owners, residents and residents to ensure compliance with the laws of the state of Rhode Island and its rules and regulations.
Real Estate
Section responsible for licensing and regulation of sellers, brokers and Real Estate appraisers. This section coordinates and organizes checks for real estate brokers, real estate sellers and appraisers. In addition, This section is responsible for issuing licenses to real estate offices, real estate schools and out of state land sales. This section is also empowered to investigate and adjudicate complaints to ensure licensing compliance with Rhode Island State laws, rules and regulations.
Travel Agents and Agents
Section responsible for arranging travel agents and travel agents. It is also responsible for issuing licenses and enforcing travel laws, regulations and regulations. The division also coordinates and organizes checks for travel agents, managers and licensing agents.
Unit Price
The section responsible for enforcing the law of the state concerning the marking of the unit price of goods in a retail store.
Upholstery
Section responsible for licensing and regulation Manufacturers, Supply Dealer, Repair-Renovator, Second Hand Dealer and sterilizing beds and upholstered furniture. Licensing ensures that all upholstered furniture and bed items are made and/or assembled and properly labeled, if applicable, to be shipped to the state. This section is responsible for enforcing state laws, regulations, and regulations of the Uniform Registry.
Racing & amp; Athletics
Twin River
The part responsible for greyhound racing regulations. It is also responsible for auditing and collecting taxes and dog racing fees as stated in state law.
This section announces the rules and regulations for greyhound racing operations and the operation of pari-mutuel facilities; monitor all bets on the greyhound racing facility; oversee state and local pari-mutuel tax collection; award date racing for dog racing; regulates simulcast-wagering operations at licensed pari-mutuel facilities; and oversee the licensing of greyhound racing facility personnel.
Newport Grand
The part responsible for the Newport Grand regulations. It is also responsible for audit and collection of taxes and fees as mandated by state law.
This section announces the rules and regulations for greyhound racing operations and the operation of pari-mutuel facilities; monitor all bets at the Newport Grand facility; oversee state and local pari-mutuel tax collection; set up simulcast-wagering operations at licensed pari-mutuel facilities and oversee the licensing of Newport Grand facility personnel.
Professional Boxing/Wrestling
Sections are responsible for professional boxing regulation, wrestling and kickboxing. It is also responsible for the collection of taxes and related fees as determined by state law.
This section provides separate rules and regulations for professional boxing, wrestling, and kickboxing; monitor the behavior of all professional boxing, wrestling, and kickboxing events; audit and collect state taxes; issuing licenses for professional boxing, wrestling, and kickboxing; and overseeing contestant's permissions for such events.
