The Poughkeepsie Trust Company building is located on Main Street in the city in the state of New York, USA. Immediately to the east, and merge into, Dutch County County Court House.

Local architect Percival Lloyd designed the building, the second bank on the site, as the first modern skyscraper in the Hudson Valley with a six-level elevation. It costs $ 100,000 to build and includes a carved stone facade decoration. Bricks, steel and stones are used in interior framing. Inside, the ground floor is the Mycenaean marble banking space, with intact mahogany furniture, brass fittings and bronze lights. A "women-only corridor" is built near a ladies' room so women can go and return from there without having to use the main corridor. The upper floor is achieved by using an elevator, then another piece of pioneering technology.

The Beaux Arts facade of three bays starts at the top with a mask on the cornice and forms the egg-and-arrow back blocks. It provides a way to overgrown swag motifs on decorations. A similar pattern continues down the story, followed by a locked pilaster. The ground surface is fully locked and project, with an elaborate wrought iron gate at the main door and Doric decorative columns. On the side, the red and yellow brick diamond patterns run from front to back on the fifth story.

It opened in 1906. The New York City Water Supply Commission, then searching in the area for future inventory for a thriving city, was an early tenant. It rented the entire fifth and fourth floor, ultimately planning and overseeing land acquisition and construction for what became the Catskill channel from the bank building.

The bank will eventually leave the building and become part of the Bank of New York. County took over, joined the adjacent court building, built several years earlier. In 1982 the building was added to the National Register of Historic Places, one of the three city center banks in the city finally registered. Today the headquarters to the district attorney's office.
