Carleton H. Sheets (born August 25, 1939) is a prominent real estate investor and a writer famous for television commercials that market real estate business learning materials. Sheets have appeared on radio and television talk shows. His No Down Payment television program won many awards and was credited as the longest program of its kind for 25 years.
Sheets were born in Illinois and moved to Delaware, Ohio, where her father worked for Procter & amp; Gamble. One of his early jobs was to market a soft drink bottle cap and then become a marketing director for a Florida company that is a prime processor of orange juice. In the 1970s, he began investing in property, and in the early 1980s he worked as a pitcher for a company representing real estate authority Robert G. In 1984 Sheets worked with Chicago entrepreneurs Mark S. Holecek and Donald R. Strumillo to form their business "Professional Education Institute." Individually privately-held "Institute of Professional Education" is included as AMS Direct, Inc. Founded in 1983 and based in Burr Ridge, Illinois with a coaching and operating location in Salt Lake City, Utah. Better Business Bureau has reported hundreds of complaints from Mr. customer. Sheets and P.E.I., many of them argue that they are overpaid and have trouble getting refunds. Several state prosecutors' offices said they had received several similar complaints over the years.
