Alto Real Estate Funds was founded in 2010 by Mody Kidon and Yaniv Melamud. The Alto closed end funds invest in commercial properties - primarily retail - in the U.S., with offices in Manhattan, Dallas and Tel Aviv. As of September 2016, Alto has invested $1 billion in total property value, with some 50 properties covering 11 million sq.f.
